Abstract

Education is regarded as a source of prosperity and power and a key to civilisation and wisdom. Formal education is a three-dimensional process. It entails interaction between the student, the teacher, and the subject matter (curriculum). The National Education Policy's primary recommendation is that by 2030, the four-year integrated teacher training program offered by multidisciplinary higher education institutions be recognised as a minimum degree for school teachers, allowing everyone who offers a four-year integrated teacher education program to provide quality education. The objectives paper is to explore the scope and various aspects of four-year ITEP under the new education policy of India. After conducting an intensive study on different literature from selected papers and reports, the researcher presented a clear view of four-year ITEP in NEP-2020.
