Abstract

Nowadays, the vital role plays by a university are to know about the requirements and recognize the needs of their faculties to make them more expert professionals in their jobs. Since the last few decades, considerable usage of teaching-learning mobile applications has noted by the faculties of higher educational institutions. Thus, the skilled employees of universities such as academic teachers, governess, and educationalist all become a major part of seeking education and knowledge by using more and more advanced educational mobile applications on their smart phones. A large number of faculties carry their cell phone and other digital gadget to modernize them. At present, a number of highly advanced technical gadgets replaced traditional learning and teaching methods in the education sector globally. Moreover, smart phone usage reflects the high rate of its penetration in the education sector among the entire academic employees. Due to the fast growth of advanced technology such as multiple teaching applications that are available and used by the faculties in higher institutions to update their skills and teaching information. Day-by-day, the usage of educational mobile software rapidly increased among the academic faculties in every aspect of their profession such as teaching patterns, strategies, and instructional methods in universities. Efficient mobile learning has brought effective manners of teaching patterns and challenges among the faculties in the education sector. In particular, study examining the result of the research which shows that most faculty members using their smart phones and a large number of educational applications to improve their skills and update themselves. Nowadays, several numbers of teaching mobile applications are available such as Google Classroom, Grammarly, Zoom Call, etc on their cell phones for curriculum tasks. Lastly, the result of this research is that multiple educational applications which are used by faculties on their smart phones in universities help to improve their skills, knowledge and their learning practices have been recognized and offered. At last, the study points towards the examining of the benefits and disadvantages of using educational mobile applications and its impacts on faculty’s performance in higher educational institutions
