Abstract

Use technology in learning Already done since development technology education , however moment this , with more development _ fast , right? only limited use as a learning medium , however Already apply technology in learning . The implementation of technology in learning is already part of teaching and learning activities. The application of technology as a method in learning does not reduce the quality of learning, in fact it can improve the quality of graduates who are able to adapt technology. By using technology in learning, it will be more effective, efficient and able to increase student creativity through the use of e-learning based media . E-learning is data technology as well communication To use activate student To use get used to any time as well as anywhere (Dahiya, 2012). Research carried out uses a qualitative approach, namely an approach that does not look for cause and effect, but is carried out intensively, in detail and in depth regarding an organization, institution or certain symptoms. In this research, researchers seek to understand and examine strategies for implementing the Learning Management System as an e-learning media tool in improving the quality of learning in higher education through directive observations at research locations and communicative interactions with the academic community and the community involved in it. Based on the findings, interpretation and discussion, it can be concluded in general that e-learning based learning in improving the quality of learning in higher education has been implemented, but has not been managed optimally. This can be seen from the not yet optimal quality of learning resulting from the program, both from cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. E-learning based learning in improving the quality of learning in higher education is still hampered by internal and external constraints. Internal obstacles are the low level of understanding, skills and motivation of the parties involved in making changes from learning with conventional concepts to online-based learning. Internal obstacles are also characterized by inadequate human resources for program management, inadequate infrastructure and facilities.
